I can't pinpoint when exactly I decided that I wanted to be a Nurse, the decision just seemed obvious; I have a passion to help people, to make a positive impact on the ones around me and how better to carry this out than to care for my fellow beings in times of need! My ultimate goal is to maintain a Masters Degree in Psychiatric Nursing. I feel that there is a strong need for caring, compassionate, and non-judgmental nurses who have a great deal of patience to establish a relationship with mentally ill patients based on trust and openness. I feel that I have the qualities that are necessary to help the more "challenging" patients and a strong desire that is fueled with each and every connection that I make with those in need.
